Affirmations
You Are a Child of God
We were created in the image and likeness of God. He is our Father. He watches over us and His love for us is everlasting. Turn to Him in need.
You formed my inmost being;
You knit me in my mother’s womb.
Praise you, because I am wonderfully made;
Wonderful are your works!
Myself you know.
My bones are not hidden from you,
When I was being made in secret,
Fashioned in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw me unformed;
In your book all are written down;
My days were shaped, before one came to be.
Psalm 137: 13-16
You Are Appreciated
You are appreciated for all your acts of charity and support. Not everyone will acknowledge your kindness, but most will recognize it.
May the LORD reward what you have done!
May you receive a full reward from the LORD,
the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.
Ruth 2:12
You Are a Blessing
Through simple acts of kindness and generosity, you become God’s blessing to this around you. Strive to be God’s hands on earth.
Give, and it will be given to you.
Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over,
Will be put into your lap.
For with the measure you use,
It will be measured back to you.
Numbers 6:24-26

You Make a Difference
Think about all of the people you have interacted with in your life. Probably thousands or tens of thousands. You may never realize it, but your actions and words may be what people need the most. You may never get the feedback, but you made a difference for good in many lives. Look for more opportunities each day to make a difference for good.
For we are God’s masterpiece.
He has created us anew in Christ Jesus,
So, we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:10
You Are Never Alone
In our busy world, when work and finances are most stressful, it’s easy to feel alone. But you are never alone, God is at your door, just let Him in. Let Him pour His love into your heart. Reach out to family, friends, and co-workers. They may be able to help you lift your burdens.
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
God Shines Through You
We project our inner most thoughts and emotions to those around us. Let God touch those around you through your words and actions.
You are the light of the world.
A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.
Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket;
it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.
Just so, your light must shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.
Matthew 5: 14-16
You Matter
We live in a hectic busy world. So much pressure from work, our friends, society. We can feel small and ineffective. But you matter. You matter to your coworkers, your friends and your family and your neighbors. You matter to God most of all.
When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and stars that you set in place
What is man that you are mindful of him,
and a son of man that you care for him?
Yet you have made him little less than a god,
crowned him with glory and honor.
You have given him rule over the works of your hands,
put all things at his feet:
All sheep and oxen,
even the beasts of the field,
The birds of the air, the fish of the sea,
and whatever swims the paths of the seas.
Psalm 8: 4-9
You Are Loved
Let the warmth of God’s love find you, flow through you and embrace you every day. With God’s love in your heart, it is much easier to reach out and love those around you. Not just family and friends, but the poor and needy; the downtrodden and forsaken.
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God;
everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God.
Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.
In this way the love of God was revealed to us:
God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him.
In this is love: not that we have loved God,
but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another.
1 John 4: 7-11
